Collection Description[edit | edit source]The Tennessee Genealogical Society uses this facility as its headquarters and repository. This collection emphasizes the Mid-South, Eastern, and Southern States. The Tennessee collection includes genealogy, local history, politics, government, family histories, and personal papers. Their genealogical collection contains databases, Tennessee Genealogical Society articles online, bibliographies, biographies, vital records, cemeteries, census, church, city directories, local histories, oral histories, court records, heraldry, immigration records, land, tax, maps, newspapers, military, periodicals, photographs, research guides, abstracts, indexes, recommended websites, and CDs.
