Description

Scott County was named for U.S. Army General Winfield Scott, a hero of the Mexican War. The county is located in the north-central area of the state.[2]

  • FNB Chronicle: Publication of the First National Bank, who "relies heavily on the cooperation of the Scott County Historical Society as well as the recollections and keepsakes of county residents."
