Description

Robertson County was named for James Robertson, an explorer, founder of Nashville, and a state senator, who was often called the "Father of Middle Tennessee". The county is located in the north-central area of the state.[1]

The county is named after "James Robertson (1742-1814), Tennessee state legislator and founder of the Watauga Settlements."[7]

On their website, users can bring up a list of land entries issued in Robertson County, both before and after its land became a part of the state of Tennessee. Years covered: 1785-1802.

Instructions:
