History
Sunbury County is located in central New Brunswick. The Parish of Burton was set up in 1786. Lincoln was erected in 1786. The parishes of Sheffield and Maugerville were established in 1786. The Blissville Parish was created from Burton and Lincoln in 1834. The Parish of Northfield was created in 1857 and Gladstone Parish was apportioned from Blissville in 1874.
