Parish History[edit | edit source]

HALSTEAD (St. Margaret), a parish, in the union of Seven-Oaks, hundred of Codsheath, lathe of Sutton-at-Hone, W division of Kent, 5¼ miles NW by N from Seven-Oaks. There are places of worship for Baptists and Independents. [1]

St Margaret: "An endearing and much loved Victorian church on the edge of the village. Built in 1881 to replace a medieval church on the other side of the road."[2]
