Parish History

BAPCHILD (St Lawrence), a parish, in the union and hundred of Milton, Upper division of the lathe of Scray, E division of Kent, 1¼ mile ESE from Sittingbourne.

Bapchild is a village and civil parish about two miles east of Sittingbourne in the Swale district of Kent, see Bapchild Wikipedia.
Bapchild St Lawrence is an Ancient Parish in the Diocese of Canterbury. The parish church dates from the 11th century and replaces an earlier Saxon one on the site.
