Throwley St Michael and All Angels is an Ancient Parish in the Diocese of Canterbury and is one of the group of churches in the Selling, Kent with Throwley Sheldwich, Kent with Badlesmere, Kent benefice.
The church dates from the 12th century with chapel additions in the 13th and 14th centuries and restored in 1866 when the tower was heightened.
The church is designated as a grade I listed building by English Heritage British listed building.
