Kingsdown is a hamlet within the civil parish of Ringwould with Kingsdown in the Dover district of Kent, see Kingsdown Kent Wikipedia
Kingsdown St John the Baptist is an Ecclesiastical Parish in the Diocese of Canterbury formed from Ringwould, Kent. Ancient Parish.
The church was built by local landowner William Curling from 1848 and became a parish in 1850.
This parish should not be confused with Kingsdown, Kent or Kingsdown with Mappiscombe, Kent in the same county.
