FAIRFIELD (St. Thomas à Becket,) a parish, in the union of Romney-Marsh, hundred of Aloesbridge, lathe of Shepway, E division of Kent, 6¾ miles W by N from New Romney.[1]
Fairfield is a village on Walland Marsh a part of Romney Marsh. Until 1934 it was a civil parish but became absorbed into the civil parish of Snargate, Kent
Brookland St Thomas a Becket is an Ancient Parish within the Diocese of Canterbury; the parish of Brookland with Fairfield is part of the benefice of Appledore with Brookland and Fairfield and Brenzett with Snargate.
