EYTHORN (St. Peter and St. Paul), a parish, in the union and hundred of Eastry, lathe of St. Augustine, E division of Kent, 6½ miles NNW from Dover. [1]
"Eythorne is, ecclesiastically, in the diocese of Canterbury, in the archdeaconry of Canterbury and in the deanery of Sandwich. The church is named for St. Peter and St. Paul with registers commencing 1559.
Eythorne, is a village, a parish, and a sub-district, in Eastry district, Kent."[2]
Eythorne St Peter and St Paul is an Ancient parish; Oxney, Kent was formed as chapelry from this parish.
Eythorne Baptist Church Eythorne Baptist Church is over 450 years old and is one of the first (if not the first) Baptist Church in the UK. [3]
