BRIDGE (St. Peter), a parish, and the head of a union, in the hundred of Bridge and Petham, lathe of St. Augustine, E division of Kent, 3 miles SE by S from Canterbury. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans. [1]
Bridge is a village and civil parish in the Canterbury district of Kent.
Bridge was formed originally as a chapelry within Patrixbourne, Kent Ancient Parish but the church was rebuilt in 1859-1861 retaining Norman features of the earlier chapel of ease.
