BECKENHAM (St. George), a parish, in the union of Bromley, hundred of Bromley and Beckenham, lathe of Sutton-at-Hone, W. division of Kent, 1¾ mile (W.) from Bromley, and 10 (S. S. E.) from London. [1]

The detached part of Battersea St Mary, Surrey Penge North West Kent Family History Society Penge St John became part of the parish in 1899.
Beckenham London Road Cemetery (Beckenham Cemetery) a municipal cemetery for Bromley Borough was opened in 1877 and Beckenham Crematorium and Cemetery Elmers End Beckenham is also located to serve that borough.
