Parish History
Stalling Busk is an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Yorkshire, created in 1736 from Aysgarth, Yorkshire Ancient Parish. STALLING-BUSK, a chapelry, in the parish of Aysgarth, wapentake of Hang-West, N. riding of York, 17 miles (W. by S.) from Middleham. At Marcett, a small hamlet about a mile west of the village, there is a place of worship for Methodists.[1]
