MOORFIELDS, a chapelry in Sheffield parish, W. R. Yorkshire; within Sheffield borough. It was constituted in 1846. [1]
Moorfields is an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Yorkshire, created in 1846 from Sheffield [St Peter and St Paul] Ancient Parish Moorfields , eccl. dist., in par. and bor. of Sheffield, S. dir. West-Riding Yorkshire, pop. 5793. From: Bartholomew
