Parish History
TORPOINT, a chapelry, in the parish of St. Anthony, union of St. Germans, S. division of the hundred of East, E. division of Cornwall, 3 miles W from Devonport. There are places of worship for Independents and Wesleyans. [1]
Torpoint St James is an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Cornwall, created in 1821 from chapelry in Antony, Cornwall Ancient Parish.
