St Germans Poor Law Union was officially formed on 14th January 1837
The union comprised the following Parishes:
Antony, Cornwall Botus Fleming, Cornwall Hessenford, Cornwall Landrake with St Erneysee Landrake, Cornwall Landulph, Cornwall Maker, Cornwall Millbrook ,Cornwall Pillaton, Cornwall Quethiock, Cornwall Rame, Cornwall Saltash, Cornwall Sheviock, Cornwall St Germans, Cornwall St John, Cornwall St Mellion, Cornwall St Stephens by Saltash, Cornwall Tideford, Cornwall
Subsequent additions took place:
1896 Torpoint, Cornwall 1904 Millbrook ,Cornwall
Records
Surviving records include: Guardians' minute books (1837-39, 1891-5, 1911-30); Ledgers (1856-60, 1909-17, 1920-26); Union cases book (1837-61).
