CONISTON, with Kilnsay, a chapelry, in the parish of Burnsall, union of Skipton, E. division of the wapentake of Staincliffe and Ewcross, W. riding of York, 12 miles (N. by E.) from Skipton. The chapel is dedicated to St. Mary.[1]
