This ancient parish (AP) was created before 1813. Church of England records began in 1670.
SKIPWITH (St. Helen), a parish, in the union of Selby, wapentake of Ouse and Derwent, E. riding of YORK, 5½ miles (N. N. E.) from Selby. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans.[1]
