The coverage maps show the percentage of record type holdings microfilmed or digitized by FamilySearch for a state broken down by county. It is important to note that the map does not give the coverage of a specific record collection on Historical Records.  Only Historical Records Coverage Tables give that information.
The coverage maps show the percentage of record type holdings microfilmed or digitized by FamilySearch for a state separated by county. It is important to note that the map does not give the coverage of a specific record collection on Historical Records.  Only Historical Records Coverage Tables give that information and these tables are only found on the Historical Records wiki pages.

The counties on these maps will be either red, white, or green. If the county is red, no records have been obtained by FamilySearch.  If the county is white, it means FamilySearch has very few records for that county in their collection. If the county is green, FamilySearch has records for that county. The darker green the county is, the more complete the record collection.
