The second proposal is not very helpful to Americans, Australians, and others whose ancestors left England before 1837. They'll have no idea of what a registration district is and will not know which parishes are hidden beneath which registration districts. I have metrics that users are clicking on the links on large navigation boxes. I don't feel it's been proven that people find them unuseful. This new proposal only caters to a small audience. I did not realize that the Community Council's scope was to alter the navboxes nationwide in England. From the message I received, I understood that it was limited to a decision about Suffolk. If discussions are beginning on creating standardised navboxes nationwide, we definitely need to have a meeting so I can explain how I use these boxes and how they best perform.
