::I think both suggestions are a good idea. You should go ahead with the changes. In the future however, I think all translation requests should be made on the language wiki where the translated page is to go. I think this is fine for now to get greater visibility, since there are a limited number of contributors (especially on the other language wikis), but you can see how this template can quickly become an annoyance considering there are already 10 other language wikis.
