Riley Plantation, Oxford County, Maine Genealogy

Riley Plantation is an extinct plantation, now an unorganized territory (township) in the North Oxford townships of Oxford County, Maine. Riley Plantation was organized for tax purposes from Township Letter A Number 1 (TA1) (also known as Ketchum) by 1851, and more formally again in 1879. By 1893 Riley Plantation was being taxed as "wild lands." Since then it has been unorganized territory.^[1] ^[2]
