Centerville is a former town, now an unorganized territory (township) in the North Washington townships of Washington County, Maine. In 1842 the town of Centerville was organized from Township 23 ED. Centerville annexed land from Columbia in 1859; and set off land to Northfield in 1915.[1] [2] The Centerville town status was surrendered in 2004, and since then it has remained unorganized territory.[3]
