(Redirected from Cedar County, Utah)

Cedar County, Utah was created in 1856[1] from the western part of Utah County.[2] Cedar County was discontinued and its land was divided by Tooele County and Utah County in January 1862.[3]

Utah Territory's old 1856 counties are named in orange. Present-day Nevada counties are outlined in white.

When Cedar County was dissolved, the records were transferred to Utah County. The Cedar County records were then transferred from Utah County to the Utah State Archives in March 2003.[3]
