Parish History

STANFORD (St. Mary), a parish, in the union of Martley, Upper division of the hundred of Doddingtree, Hundred-House and W. divisions of the county of Worcester, 12 miles (N. W.) from Worcester. It is bounded on the east by the small river Teme.[1]

ORLETON, a chapelry, in the parish of Eastham, union of Tenbury, Upper division of the hundred of Doddingtree, Tenbury and W. divisions of the county of Worcester, 7½ miles (E. by S.) from Tenbury.[2]
