Part A - Reformat FamilySearch Links[edit | edit source]

Step One - Sign Up[edit | edit source]

  • Go to the task list and sign your name to a county for Oklahoma on the list: task list



Step Two - Click the Link[edit | edit source]

  • Using the links on the task list, click the parish you want to work on.



Step Three - Click Church Records in the Contents[edit | edit source]

  • In the contents, select Church Records under "Collections." Or scroll down to the Church Records header.



Step Four - Click Edit Source next to Other Records[edit | edit source]

  • Click Edit Source next to Other Records.



Step Five - Remove Database[edit | edit source]

  • Check to see if the following is in the section:
The parish of Trin became Reformed in 1535. Church records begin in 1666. The following volumes are available on FamilySearch:

Do the following:

  1. Remove the phrase (or something similar):

Step Six - Review and Save the Page[edit | edit source]

  • Click Show Preview to make sure all the information was removed.



  • Enter in the Summary and click Save changes:

Part B - Remove Generic FamilySearch Statement[edit | edit source]

Step One - Sign Up[edit | edit source]

  • Go to the task list and sign your name to a town in a county in Massachusetts on the list: task list



Step Two - Click the Link[edit | edit source]

  • Using the links on the task list, click the town to open the Wiki page.



Step Three - Click Births in the Contents[edit | edit source]

  • In the contents, select Births. Or, scroll down to the Births header.



Step Four - Click Edit Source next to Births[edit | edit source]

  • Click Edit Source next to Births.



Step Five - Copy and Paste the Database[edit | edit source]

  • Copy the following code and paste it in chronological order by date with the other databases listed.

Exceptions:

  • If the link is already on the page, replace it with this new link to make it match the new manual of style. Do not worry about other entries on the page that are not in accordance with the manual of style.
  • If there are no other entries with dates, put this as the first bullet.

Part C - Reformat Archive Link[edit | edit source]

This Lincoln County database covers other counties in Maine. We are adding it to the applicable counties and their town pages found on the task list.

Step One - Sign Up[edit | edit source]

  • Go to the task list and sign your name to a town in a county in Maine on the list: task list



Step Two - Click the Link[edit | edit source]

  • Using the links on the task list, click the town to open the Wiki page.



Step Three - Click Marriages in the Contents[edit | edit source]

  • In the contents, select Marriages. Or, scroll down to the Marriages header.



Step Four - Click Edit Source next to Marriages[edit | edit source]

  • Click Edit Source next to Marriages.



Step Five - Copy and Paste the Database[edit | edit source]

  • Copy the following code and paste it in chronological order by date with the other databases listed.
