Cleaning Up Your Family Tree-Online

This four-week class will teach you how to go through a Family Tree systematically, cleaning as you go. This results in a cleaner, more complete tree. Patrons will learn how to add spouses and children, how to find and merge duplicates, and how to determine what is missing and where to find it. Virtual Pedigree-Online

You will learn how to use Virtual Pedigree created by BYU. It is a great tool that enables a user to find temple ordinances opportunities for direct-line and in-direct line aunts, uncles, and cousins. Virtual Pedigree is a FamilySearch compatible solution. This means they retrieve your family tree directly from FamilySearch.org. When you find a problem in your tree you can go directly to FamilySearch.org to fix it. Virtual Pedigree allows you to intuitively navigate your tree without ever loading a new page. You can actually see your entire tree at once!
