From the Community
- Determination of color for Nav bar templates and Locality templates? Dsammy
- New York problem - side bars out of places. No explanation can be found. Dsammy
- Hi Dsammy, I looked at the New York page and noticed that a closing div tag was missing. I have put one back in and the navigation sidebar is back in place. Unfortunately the Rich Text Editor will probably remove it again sooner or later. --Steve 18:35, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- OK I just replaced the </div> tag with a new template {{closing div}}, which should persit after edits using the rich text editor. --Steve 18:44, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- FHL Template problem status involving 3 certain areas (subject, locality and tables) Dsammy
- The FHL template is being worked on and is pending answers to questions from those at FamilySearch. Thomas_Lerman 19:17, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- Changing from Pilot to Beta Dsammy
- I have started discussion on this with FamilySearch as well. It is in their court at this time as it will be some backend changes they will need to do. Thomas_Lerman 19:17, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- Threads not set up in Forums Dsammy
- I am not sure what you mean by this exactly. Are you talking about a thread view of a thread? In other words, view a thread, click on "Display Modes", and select "Switch to Threaded Mode". Thomas_Lerman 19:17, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- What to say and what not to say on pages concerning "purchase" or "overt endorsement"
The difference is obvious: Shelby County, Tennessee and Oregon Gazetteers Dsammy- Good question. I have seen some that I have been a bit concerned about. One even has a non-genealogical related site in their discussion page . . . see strange to me. Thomas_Lerman 19:57, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
