AFRICAN AMERICAN Research Workshop – Meets the fourth Wednesday of every month at 6 PM to 8 PM, except July and August. No appointment necessary.


CHINESE Research Help - Every Tuesday 1 - 9 PM. Call to schedule an appointment.


EAST BAY Genealogical Society – Meets the second Wednesday of every month at 10 AM. No appointment necessary.


FRENCH CANADIAN RESEARCH - Wednesdays - 6 - 8PM Jane Lindsey, CGS. No appointment necessary


SWEDISH RESEARCH – Thursdays - Need some help with your Swedish research? Join our experts on Thursdays between 10A and 4P for some individual assistance. No appointment necessary.

Besides providing free access to numerous subscription websites included but not limited to ancestry.com, Fold 3, Genealogy Bank, Archion and History.Geo, we also have over 7,000 volumes of books, periodicals, family histories, city and county histories, city directories, plus over 4,000 reels of microfilm and 8,795 microfiche containing millions of local vital records and historical census data from all over the world.
