"Jewish Records" is a misnomer for this category. "Jewish Records" refers to Jewish record sets on or off line. "Jewish Research" refers to the entire process and methodology for doing Jewish Genealogy. This nomenclature discussion took place before I created all the "Jewish Research" pages and made links to the previous pages that should be in the subset of "Jewish Research" and called "Jewish Records."
In this regard, please read my comments on the German Jewish Records page dated 20 February 2014 which is here. Similar talk was posted to other Jewish Records pages at the time.
I don't know that it is a good idea at all to mix categories "Jewish Research" and "Jewish Records" into one bucket. It will be getting way too cluttered in my opinion. However, if you do want to mix them together, the title of the category needs to be "Jewish Research" and not "Jewish Records" because records are a subset of the research methodology and process.

Please keep me in the loop
I would appreciate knowing where things are going with this. Hardly a week goes by without my adding some material to the Jewish Research pages, creating a page for a new city, region or country, or adding a link to or information about a new Jewish records set. You might want to pre-post your ideas in the public Jewish Research group inside the FamilySearch groups at Yammer.com. If you are not registered at Yammer or don't know what it is, please let me know. You need an invitation to get in and I can send you one.
