"Jewish Records" is a misnomer for this category. "Jewish Records" refers to Jewish record set on or off line. "Jewish Research" refers to the entire process and methodology for doing Jewish Genealogy. This nomenclature discussion took place before I created all the "Jewish Research" pages and made links to the previous pages that should be in the subset of "Jewish Research" and called "Jewish Records."

In this regard, please read my comments on the German Jewish Records page dated 20 February 2014 which is here. Similar talk was posted to other Jewish Records pages at the time.

I don't know that it is a good idea at all to mix categories "Jewish Research" and "Jewish Records" into one bucket. It will be getting way too cluttered in my opinion. However, if you do want to mix them together, the title of the category needs to be "Jewish Research" and not "Jewish Records" because records are a subset of the research methodology and process.
