This template has been designed to be placed at the top of user talk pages or any article talk page.

Note: In the preview above there will also be a blue box outline containing the link "Start a New Talk Topic". It will only display on the "talk page" and will be located just above the maroon lettering.

The notice requests that users follow the following conventions

  • post new messages at the bottom of the page
  • sign your comments
  • use section headings to separate conversation topics

It also provides links to the following guidelines/policy

When added to a user talk page, it will also display a prominent link to Start a new talk topic
