Parish History

WHITTON, a chapelry, with a village, in Twickenham parish, Middlesex; on the loop-line of the South-western railway, 2 miles SSW of Hounslow. The church was built in 1862.

St Philip and St James Church, Whitton was a district church built in the year 1862. It lay within the civil parish boundaries of Twickenham St Mary the Virgin.
