Looking at the links that have been added using {{tl|FHL}} template, these all use the '''<tt>item</tt>''' parameter. I then compared the URL produced by the template for these links and the links in the catalog (once I had performed a manual lookup). I believe that there must have been a recent change in the way these URLs are produced in the catalog.
