- Arizona, Voter Registrations, 1874-1932, index, ($)
To make it easier for election officials, voting registers were often arranged alphabetically by the names of citizens eligible to vote. In addition to the name and address of the voter, these may contain naturalization information and date and place of birth. There was no poll tax on persons eligible to vote in Arizona.
Researching Arizona Voting Records[edit | edit source]
The county recorders' offices in Arizona have voting registers kept since the 1870s. These are sometimes called “Great Registers” and include residence, naturalization, and place of origin. (For Miracopa County there are 41 Family History Library films starting with 1405007.)
