Add a database to Funeral Homes and Obituries Headers on each state's African American Resources pages.

Part A - Add Funeral Home Database[edit | edit source]

Step One - Sign Up[edit | edit source]

Go to the task list and sign your name for a state in the US on the list: task list

Step Two - Click the Link[edit | edit source]

Using the links on the task list, click the state you want to work on.

Step Three - Click Edit Source[edit | edit source]

You should now be on the African American Resources page for the state. Click on "Edit Source" at the top of the page.

Step Four - Go to Funeral Homes Header[edit | edit source]

Do a ctrl + F and search for Funeral Homes on the Wiki page. Or scroll down the page to find the header.

Step Five - Copy the Database[edit | edit source]

Copy the following code and paste it in chronological order by date with the other databases listed.

Note:

*If the link is already on the page, replace it with this new link to make it match the new manual of style. Do not worry about other entries on the page that are not in accordance with the manual of style.

Part B - Add Header and Obituary Database[edit | edit source]

Step One - Go to Oral Histories header[edit | edit source]

We will be adding the header, Obituaries on each page.

Do a ctrl + F and search for Oral Histories on the Wiki page. Or scroll down the page to find the header.

Step Two - Copy the Header and Database[edit | edit source]

Copy the following code and paste it just ABOVE the Oral Histories header.

Part C - Save the Page[edit | edit source]

Step One - Check the Databases Under the Headings and Save the Page[edit | edit source]

Click Show Preview to make sure it looks good and the link works under the headings, Funeral Homes and Obituaries.

Enter in the Summary and click Save changes:
