The Bahá'í Faith in Tanzania began around 1950 and by 2005 Bahá'ís were estimated at about 163,800 of the population.[1]

The earliest evidence of Hinduism in Tanzania is from the 1st millennium AD and by 2010 an estimated 50,000 people were Hindus. [3]

Islam is one of the 2 main religious sects found in Tanzania claiming between 35% and 55% of the population. The earliest concrete evidence of a Muslim presence in Tanzania is traced to coins dated 830 found in 1980.[4]
