SWINDON (St. Lawrence), a parish, in the union and hundred of Cheltenham, E. division of the county of Gloucester, 1½ mile (N. N. W.) from Cheltenham. The Cheltenham and Tewkesbury road and the Bristol and Birmingham railway, pass through the parish. [1]
