Collection Description[edit | edit source]The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Special Collections Library makes available censuses, obituaries, and materials which document the history of New Mexico. This includes scholarly publications on history, anthropology, archeology, religion, language and art. Although the primary focus is on the greater Albuquerque and Bernalillo County area, there are excellent resources for researching the pre-Entrada, Spanish colonial, Mexican, Territorial, and Statehood eras of New Mexico, and the U.S. Southwest. They also feature a local history lecture series.[1] Alternate Repositories[edit | edit source]If you cannot visit or find a source at the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Library Special Collections, a similar source may be available at one of the following.
