Parish History[edit | edit source]

WOODBURY (St. Swithin), a parish, and formerly a market-town, in the union of St. Thomas, hundred of East Budleigh, Woodbury and S. divisions of Devon, 3 miles (E. by S.) from Topsham. The navigable river Exe bounds it on the west.[1]and EXTON, a hamlet in Woodbury parish, Devon.[2]
