The Activity Days lessons comes in 2 parts:
Part 1 is for children ages 8-11 years old. They are probably new to Family History. The activities Include: Introduction to Family History Using the My Family Booklet, Recording Studio,  and Discovery Boards. For best experience: A FamilySearch account is recommended. The class is on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon and Friday from 2:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon. Maximum number of participants is 16.
Part 2 is for children  ages 8-11 years old. This is a continuation from Part 1 and for those with some experience in Family History.  The activities Include: Entering Information into their FamilySearch account from the My Family Booklet, (User Name and Password for account is necessary). Family Fun & Games in Family History Websites will be explored. The class is on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon and Friday from 3:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon. Maximum number of participants is 16.

  • Parents are encouraged to accompany their child in this area.

Our Children's Area has been set apart as a place for parents and children to spend time together, playing games, Lego building, watching special videos, etc. It is also used for special activities and presentations.


Family History Activity Days for Primaries, Home Schooling, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Other Children's Groups.
