Children's Area for Story Time and Special Presentations[edit | edit source]
- Parents are encouraged to accompany their child in this area.
Summer Family History Adventure 2017[edit | edit source]
→ Come Join us for four hours of Summer Activity fun!
- Youth ages 8 - 18 are welcome to come enjoy fun Family History activities.
- Families are encouraged to participate together to enhance their learning experience.
→ Session activities are spread over two days beginning June 19th and 20th and end with the August 9th and 10th
day exercises.
→ Some Activities for all Family Member ages are:
- Outdoor Games (Games played by ancestors)
- Please wear appropriate attire for outside play such as tennis shoes. Hint: Gunny Sack races is one of the games!
- How to Gather Information From Grave Markers
- Family History Basics in FamilySearch
- How to Interview Family Members and What Questions to ask.
- How to add "Memories" to FamilySearch (pictures, documents, stories, etc.)
