Collection Description[edit | edit source]The Bridgeport History Center at the main library is one of the largest repositories for genealogy research in the region. It includes articles on Bridgeport topics, digital collections, genealogy workshops, newspaper archives, oral histories, getting started guides, charts and forms, and links to dozens of genealogical Internet sites.[4] Bridgeport Public Library is also a Family History Center, and can order microfilms and microfiche from the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.
