Research use: Provides information for establishing family relationships and linkage.
Record type: Enumeration of population and registration of population movement and lists of residents.
Time Period: From 1757, and at 3-7 year intervals thereafter.
Content: Census records show names of all family members, servants, boarders, ages or birth dates, places of origin and residence, occupation, religion, civil status and duration of residence.
Location: Civil registry office.
Population coverage: 70%.
Reliability: Good.[1]
