In other languages: FrançaisThe Roman Catholic Church has remained strong in Monaco from the beginning of the Principality. It continues as the state church, although religious freedom is guaranteed and other religions are permitted. Protestants, Muslims and Jews are recognized as significant religious groups.[1]
