To attend the online classes, you will need to register. It is recommended that you review the class handouts before attending the class by viewing them online or by printing them. Review the class schedule below and your choice(s) of classes to attend.

FamilySearch 2 - Cleaning Up Your Family Tree-an Online Class

Presented by L. Moulton - Click the links for the class handouts. Week 1 - Week 2 - Week 3 - Week 4

This four-lesson class will teach patrons how to go through their family trees systematically, cleaning as they go. This method results in more complete and more correct trees. Patrons will learn the importance of: getting to know their ancestors, evaluating what they know, determining what information they are missing, and learning how and where to find this missing information. They will get an overview of available records, what information those records might contain, and search strategies to find them. Finally, they will learn how to solve conflicting data by evaluating sources and the information in them.

Note: The "FamilySearch 2 - Cleaning Up Your Family Tree" Classes are no longer being offered In Person.
