A very useful guide for finding London property records predating the Great Fire is available online:

The Topographical Index - City Parishes section of the book identifies available records parish-by-parish.
Feet of Fines[edit | edit source]
During the medieval period, archival copies of agreements between two parties concerning land lawsuits were known as feet of fines.[1]
Many of these old records have been published:
