Research use: Valuable as a supplement where early records are lacking.

Record type: Documentation of soldiers service record and pensions.

Time Period: 1642- present.

Content: Documents include ages, sometimes birth dates and parentage, marriage and death dates and places, relatives.

Location: National Archives in Amman.

Population coverage: Approximately 40%.

Reliability: Good.[1]
