Parish History[edit | edit source]

LANGTREE, a parish, in the union of Torrington, hundred of Shebbear, Torrington and N. divisions of Devon, 3¼ miles (S. W.) from Torrington. It is on the road from Torrington to Holsworthy and Launceston. There was formerly a chapel at Cross Hill, in the parish.^[1]
