Daytime Visits

A single group visit with up to 30 participants is available to schedule on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday anytime from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The visits last up to an hour and a half. They include a short presentation, 20 to 25 minutes, by a staff member in one of our meeting rooms, with the remainder of the time working at the computers in the Center. If a presentation was not requested, the entire time will be spent at the computers.
- If you would like a brief (5 to 10 minute) introduction to our Center with a description of our facility, website, tools, applications, and equipment available in the Center, select it when scheduling your visit.

- Prep for Trek. A presentation on how to identify a pioneer ancestor, locate the pioneer company the ancestor was in, and then find information about them, including how to identify family members requiring temple ordinances. Creating a 9-generation fan chart is also demonstrated.
- Connect/Belong Using Mobile Devices. Focused on helping members take advantage of all the new features of doing family history on mobile devices.
- Family History is Fun! Designed as an overview of the exciting new apps available on the website that will entice and excite young people to learn more about their ancestors through fun, interactive games and programs on the computer.
- Group Visit without a Presentation. You will be guided to a reserved area in our center to spend your time using our computers and printers.

- Determine an accurate count of how many will be attending.
- Group size is limited to 30 participants.
- Only one session is available per day for the Daytime visits.
- Most Importantly: Make sure every member of your group has an active FamilySearch account for them to get the most benefit from their visit.

Two time slots at both 6:00 pm and 7:15 pm are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. A single session is limited to 30 participants. If you have more than 30 but 60 or fewer in your group, you will need to schedule two sessions. If a second session is not available, you will need to select a different time or date. ** Please be sure to cancel the one that was not needed! **

YSA and Mid-Singles Ward and Branch Visits

A new offering available exclusively for YSA or Mid-Singles wards and branches is held on Monday evenings from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A single group visit with up to 30 participants can be scheduled to start at 6:00 pm, 6:30 pm, or 7:00 pm.
The visit can last until closing time, 9:00 pm. It includes a choice of up to two short presentations, 15 to 20 minutes, by a staff member in one of our meeting rooms, with the remainder of the time working at the computers in the Center. If a presentation was not requested, the entire time will be spent at the computers.

Ward FamilySearch Discovery Day Visits

A new offering available exclusively for wards and branches is held on Saturdays. There will be two time periods offered: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. To allow us to arrange staff and presentations you will need to schedule at least two weeks in advance. A ward or branch can schedule a visit for up to 100 participants.
You will have a choice of activities.
- If you would like a brief (5 to 10 minute) introduction to our Center with a description of our facility, website, tools, applications, and equipment available in the Center, select it when scheduling your visit.

- Finding 100,000 Cousins starting with Virtual Pedigree (30 minutes).
- None. You will be guided to a reserved area in our center to spend your time using our computers and printers.

We are not offering our Discovery Days we held in the past. We now have a Ward FamilySearch Discovery Day that can be scheduled.
